Alright. So Heartseeker has been out for roughly two months now and I am learning the lesson that I need more marketing savvy. Putting out a book on Amazon and crossing my fingers that it gets noticed is not a reliable way to get sales (Surprise!).
So for the moment I am looking into how to market.
As for the future of the series that Heartseeker begins? It’s uncertain. I find myself in the position of having to decide whether to invest more time into a story that hasn’t caught on so far or to take a new swing in the hopes that the next project will somehow have more immediate appeal.
Time will tell. I’m definitely not ruling out writing the two planned sequels to Heartseeker (Chainbreaker and Kingmaker) and you can help make sure that I do by spreading word of Heartseeker to more people and writing positive reviews for it.
